He is currently President of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Energy Medicine and is a past President of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. He became a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy in 2005 for his work of integrating professional complementary medicine into mainstream physical therapy. He was also awarded a Doctorate in Acupuncture by the British College of Acupuncture in 1987 following his thesis on the correlation of traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. He is the author of 8 other books on acupuncture, acupressure, reflexology, the chakra energy system and healing. He resides in the Isle of Skye, Scotland where he runs a 12 acre croft with his wife Andrea. He continues to teach worldwide and also runs an advisory service for practitioners through the 'All Experts' organisation.
