A disenfranchised seventeen-year-old leaves behind a challenging family life in London for the sense of purpose and contribution promised by a new life in Raqqa, but when the intentions there are found to be more impure and ruthless than she had imagined it turns out that such a change of heart might prove complex or dangerous.
